Week #5: FIELD TRIP: Sepulveda Dam Recreation Area:
Review of student's homework Student projects during field trip. Chose a minimum of three of the listed projects. You can use your choice of film and print/slides: 1) A landscape image using a wide angle lens and camera position to accentuate a near/far relationship. 2) A landscape or portrait image using a telephoto lens and camera position to compress space. 3) Use a slow shutter speed and panning technique to capture a bird or other fast moving subject 4) Use a tripod and telephoto lens to capture distant birds. 5) Find a natural "seamless background" (tree bark, large stone, grass) and Shoot a portrait. 6) Shoot an environmental portrait showing a person in relationship to the larger landscape. 7) Shoot a portrait using reflectors 8) Shoot a portrait with an extremely narrow depth of field
HOMEWORK: See above "student projects". Bring final print or slide from each chosen project (3 prints and/or slides) to next (final) class meeting.
