Materials needed for class: A minimum of 5 rolls of 35mm E-6 slide film. Kodak EPN or EPP suggested. This will also require "normal developing and mounting" from a lab. You typically will not get slide film returned for 2 to 4 days from a discount store, from a custom lab it is often available in 3 hours.

Suggestions for E-6 slide film developers near LTU:
APL : 21831 Sherman Way, Canoga Park (Near Topanga) 818-347-4686
The Darkroom : 9227 Reseda Blvd, Reseda (north of Nordoff) 818-885-0123
UCI : 6827 Tampa Ave, Reseda 818-776-9911

HOMEWORK: Use slide film and your camera's "Shutter Priority mode". Shoot a moving object (car, bike, animal, fast kid) 2 ways: stop motion (typical setting are 1/125th to 1/1000th) and motion blur (typical setting are 1/30th to 1/60th). This exercise is best Shoot outdoors. Bring your favorite example of each style to next class (2 slides).
