Review of homework

Perspective effects/distortions and lens/zoom choice (wide angle, normal, telephoto)

Introduction to digital cameras and Photoshop

Working with a custom lab (digital): scanning, printing from a file, color management

 

Homework:

Part #1: Shoot one object and distant background two ways. Use either a zoom or both a wide and a telephoto lens. Shoot the object at your longest lens MM setting (200mm for example) filling most of the frame with the object. Then Shoot the subject a second time with your shortest lens MM (35mm for example). Change your physical position so that the primary object remain the same size on the film.

Part #2: Shoot one object and distant background two ways. Use a zoom or wide and telephoto lens. Shoot the object without changing your physical position so that the primary object changes size on the film.
