Commercial Photography Overview
Commercial photography is the creation of images with the intent to help a client sell a product and/or a service. These images are usually used in catalogs, advertising, sell sheets and websites. Ferguson Photography and Design can provide complete photography and design (layout) services, or provide just the photography if you already have a designer.
Tabletop Product Photography
Tabletop product photography is a type of "still life" image creation. Small to medium sized products, such as jewelry, food, cosmetics, electronics. Typically shot with a seamless background, the scene can be setup with or without props. All images are created with professional lighting. Increasingly common in today's market, these images are often "clipped", so that the background disappears completely. Large Product Photography
Larger products, products that need to be shot in a specific location (kitchen, industrial space, lab), or products that need to be shot with a person using them (either an employee or professional model). Large product photography services are available on location or at our SImi Valley studio. More info.
Architectural Photography
Architectural photography is image creation where buildings and other structures are the primary subject. This can be exteriors or interiors. Sometimes interiors images also about what is being "done" at the location (manufacturing, installation, services). Professional lighting is alway available. More info.
People Photography
Corporate portrait photography for websites, business cards, advertising and internal company materials. Available at at our Simi Valley studio or on location. Portraits can be single headshots or large groups, with a simple studio background or showcasing your environment. More info.
Closeup Photography
Macro photography of small objects (typically less than 4 inches) and very fine details. Photographs that often show what the human eye cannot even see. Macro photography is available at our Simi Valley studio. Location services may also be available with some limitations. More info.
Photoshop Manipulations
Professional photo retouching services. We can work on either image we've shot or images you already have. Scanning of existing prints is available. Change colors, correct flaws in products, touch up portraits, remove backgrounds. More info.
